Our Mission
To help reduce reoffending and rebuild lives by supporting over-50s ex-offenders and pre-release inmates into sustainable and dignified employment.
At First Global Recruitments Agency, we believe everyone deserves a second chance in life, especially ex-offenders who have spent a significant part of their adult life in incarceration.
We work with employers who are open-minded, inclusive, and ready to benefit from the
resilience of these ex-offenders who have experienced the criminal justice system, whether currently serving a sentence or recently released, to rebuild their lives through meaningful employment. We strive to give the over-50s, older people in prison, a voice for effective rehabilitation, reformation, and reintegration through training, mentorship, upskilling, and reorientation of their mindset.
We believe that past convictions should not be an automatic barrier to employment and support rehabilitation through fair access to job opportunities. We aim to ensure that ex-offenders are given equal opportunity to compete for jobs and are not unfairly disadvantaged due to past convictions, in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, the Equality Act 2010, and applicable data protection legislation.

Why Are We Different?
Our Focus without Prejudice: Celebrating the Experience and Expertise of Over 50’s Professionals
We focus on supporting professionals aged fifty and above. This is inspired by our belief in the immense value that experienced professionals bring to the workplace.
We help combat age discrimination by actively promoting the employment of older workers and educating employers on the benefits of an age-diverse workforce.
Candidates over fifty often bring a wealth of experience and skills acquired over a long career.
Why Over 50's?
Older individuals face unique barriers to re-entry—ageism, long employment gaps, low confidence, and health issues, especially when compounded by a criminal record. We exist to bridge that gap, offering tailored support that values maturity, experience, and the human capacity to change.
